From design to maintenance

Like its “big brother”, EQUIP AUTO Moscow is an international event, providing a showcase for the entire industry of vehicle and garage supplies. Spread over 11,000 sq. m, the show will be bringing together some 300 exhibitors, including the majority of international leaders (60%) in the OEM and aftermarket sectors. Russian exhibitors, equipment manufacturers, importers and distributors will naturally play a key role, on their home turf, in making this first show dedicated to all vehicles, whether light or heavy, a success.

EQUIP AUTO Moscow is an annual show, organised thanks to an active partnership with the Russian Association of Automotive Component Manufacturers (NAPAK).

A booming automotive market in Russia

Household growth has developed at a sustained rate (up 10% per year on average over the past three years) and the rate of car ownership, while relatively low at present (177 per 1,000 inhabitants vs. 530 per 1,000 in France), is expected to reach 260 vehicles/1,000 by 2010, up 50% over the next three years!

NB. The figures from the first quarter of 2007 have already beaten the most optimistic forecasts! For example, new vehicle sales for this period are already 30% higher than for the same period in 2006.

International car and equipment manufacturers haven’t let this opportunity pass them by: the vast majority have already gained a foothold in this new major automotive market, or are about to do so.

EQUIP AUTO Moscow: a not-to-be-missed eastern event

Based on a comprehensive concept that is brand new to Russia, EQUIP AUTO MOSCOW will not only be bringing together local and international equipment manufacturers, providing an opportunity to forge new contacts, but will also be a chance for all the players involved in the Russian automotive industry to come together. Engineers, engineering and design departments, manufacturing heads (Russian and international companies established in Russia), garage owners, dealers, wholesalers, distributors and importers will all be invited to this new key meeting for the automotive industry.

EQUIP AUTO Moscow is expecting to receive Russian visitors and professionals from neighbour countries such as Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

With EQUIP AUTO Moscow and after EQUIP AUTO Algeria (launched in 2006, 3^rd edition in April 2008), EQUIP AUTO confirms its increasing international development.
