“EQUIP AUTO OEM Meetings”, a Fantastic Development Process

For its upcoming show, 15 to 20 October 2007, EQUIP AUTO is launching the “EQUIP AUTO OEM Meetings”, a gathering over two days, Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 October 2007, of all those involved in international OEM.

EQUIP AUTO facilitator of business and exchange

Buyers and suppliers, vehicle manufacturers and equipment manufacturers from Tier 1, 2 and beyond will be able to meet one another individually, making the most of the growing internationalization and attractiveness of EQUIP AUTO (*).

On a single site and over two days, the “EQUIP AUTO OEM Meetings” will enable international OEM players to:

  • Meet potential suppliers from around the world likely to respond to their needs in technology, quality, logistics, price, production capacity, geographic location, etc.
  • Identify their future partners in terms of cooperation or further business.
  • Concentrate their global sourcing actions.

 

OEM Meetings: instructions

 
► The EQUIP AUTO OEM Meetings calendar includes several phases:

  1. The inventory of buyer needs will be taking place until the end of February 2007. (Attention: completion of buyer list imminent).
  2. Drawing up the list of needs will take place until June 2007 and the list will be circulated worldwide.
  3. Buyers will receive supplier responses anonymously and select them from July to September.
  4. From September 2007 suppliers retained by buyers will be informed by the organization who will establish the meetings program (16 and 17 October).

 ► The term “buyers” refers not only to vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 equipment manufacturers but also to manufacturers from Tier 2 and beyond who are seeking “distant” suppliers or partners or first contacts on potential markets.

► Taking part in “EQUIP AUTO OEM Meetings” is completely free of charge for buyers as for suppliers not retained. Only those suppliers who obtain meetings will have to pay a fee.

 ► During these “OEM Meetings” EQUIP AUTO will provide: preferential and permanent access to the VIP Lounge, a private reception area, permanent accompaniment (hostesses, interpreters...), refreshments, a VIP badge and parking spot.
