New Organization for EQUIP AUTO and SOLUTRANS

The recent retirement of Danielle LARRIVIĖRE, the EQUIP AUTO Communications Director, has meant a new organization being put in place. Mario FIEMS, assisted by Isabelle CACHELOT, will be leading the EQUIP AUTO communications team. Francis PEGUES maintains his duties as Director of EQUIP AUTO in charge of sales and as Director of EQUIP AUTO Algeria. Finally, given the imminent opening of the next SOLUTRANS (17-21 April 2007), Mario FIEMS will effectively assume control of the event for the 2009 show.

For nearly 15 years Mario FIEMS served a variety of leadership roles within Reed Expositions France, primarily for industrial trade shows including MIDEST (international industrial subcontracting show), INTERTRONIC (international electronics trade show), EUROPLAST (international plastics, rubber and composite materials exhibition) and MAINTENANCE EXPO (industrial and service maintenance solutions show). With a strong background in international relations, he was moreover in charge of developing the network for the promotion of the group’s shows in Europe and the USA. Until February 2007 he held the position of Director of the Industry Branch of the events organizer.

EQUIP AUTO, the largest international automotive equipment show in 2007, takes place at Paris Nord Villepinte from 15 to 20 October 2007. With innovation at its heart, EQUIP AUTO is the place of convergence for all automotive professions: 2,100 exhibitors (75% international), 200,000m² of exhibition area and 137,566 visitors (30% international).

SOLUTRANS, the Transport Solutions show, opens its doors from 17 to 21 April 2007 at Lyon Eurexpo. The key theme for this 9^th show is Sustainable Development. SOLUTRANS has established itself as the major biennial gathering for the entire road transport profession and brings together, on 76,000m² of exhibition area, 750 exhibitors and 34,800 visitors (20% international).
