In 2007 they become the International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation. A single destination for EQUIP AUTO and its Superior Awards: Innovation!
Why the Grands Prix?
From their launch in 1985, the International Grands Prix for Technical Innovation have continually revealed the best product, the most innovative know-how in the vehicle equipment sector.
Today it is some 80 international qualified journalists, from 27 countries, who study the dossiers sent in by exhibitors and reward the best in innovation.
Participating in the Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation is giving yourself an opportunity of being read about and seen in the four corners of the world, of highlighting your expertise and your technological lead, of having the support of an international organization in raising your innovation to the highest level.

May 2007 | Opening date for online registration |
08 June 2007 | 5.00 pm: Closing date for registration |
18 June 2007 | Selection by journalists of the 24 most innovative dossiers (6 in each category) |
26 June 2007 | Press release relating to the shortlisted 24 |
14 October 2007 | The day before the show the shortlisted 24 present their innovations to the jury of journalists. Following this presentation, journalists proceed with the final vote. |
15 October 2007 | Awards ceremony - Exhibitors evening |
